We've been hiding our light under a bushel (apparantly...)
What contains 12 boxed starter sets, over 150 army packs and more than 90 booster, company and HQ packs? The answer is coming shortly, but first, this week’s magic number which stands at #34394.
So back to the original question. Given whose writing this post it’s probably fairly obvious, but the answer to the question is simple – The Baccus 6mm catalogue. That’s an awful lot of choice in one place. But what prompted this sudden attack of statistics? Cue the backstory…

Our boxed all-in-one starter sets and army packs have been part of the range almost from the first days of Baccus. As the range has grown, we’ve added them as we’ve gone along until we have ended up with the numbers in the introduction.
The starter sets are a great way to get into a new period and are very popular for new entrants to 6mm gaming while the army packs are a simple no-nonsense way to put an army together. I’ve no doubt many of you reading this will have found their way into the wonderful world of 6mm gaming through one of these starter sets. However, we’ve recently been made aware of one big issue.
The simple fact is that our website has unwittingly been doing its best to hide these wargaming gems. The format of the online catalogue buries them at then end of each respective section making them difficult to find if you don’t know they are there. This may not be an issue to Baccus Grognards, but after the umpteenth email from newcomers asking me if we did army packs it finally struck me that there might be an issue here.

As a result, the Baccus website has been tweaked, and the Starter sets and army packs each now have their own section right at the start of the catalogue. Having put these new sections together it really is quite sight having them all in the same place!

To finish today, here is a quick reminder that Partizan II is coming up shortly on Sunday May 17th. So, it’s time to get those collect orders in to us. If you are going to the show, Ben will be running our wonderful Battle of Lens game, so please do come along and have a go. The games don’t last long, and you get the experience of commanding a huge army for a short while – they don’t stay huge for long…
