Something Swiss this way comes...

We are heading towards our next set of new releases for 2026, but first we have the boring routine of the Baccus Magic number, which stands at #34088.  We are making real progress on catching up from what was a hefty backlog at the start of the year, and waiting time for orders should be drastically reduced further in the next couple of weeks.

So…with that out of the way, it’s time for a preview of some imminent new releases.  The Hammerhead show on February 28th will see the release of the Swiss Infantry of the Italian Wars.   As has been the case with all the codes in this range it’s taken more time than usual to get these out as we have to add extra steps to the process to reflect the complete lack of uniformity typical of the period.

Here we have some Swiss pikemen.  The Italian Wars seems to have given everyone the excuse to fly a lot more colours than seems sensible, with an eye to style rather than practicality.   On the other hand, it gives me the opportunity to showcase some examples from the two new Swiss flag sheets that will be released alongside the figures themselves.

We will be taking stocks of all the new codes with us to Newark next Sunday, so if you fancy fielding some traditional  opponents to the Landsknechts, then come along and see us. 

For those of you fancy commanding a nice big army we will have the fast, furious and very bloody Battle of Lens game at Hammerhead.  Ben has recovered well from his recent unpleasantness and will be running the game.
