The shape of some things to come
I know it's been quiet over the last couple of months but that does not mean we've been entirely idle. Here's a quick preview of some things that you can expect to see soon. First off the blocks are some Rangers and British light infantry to take on the recently released Compagnies Franche de la marine and Canadian militia in the wilds of North America:

House move done, Colours and a new CD to boot!
After what seems like years of an existence dominated by packing, loading, unloading and unpacking boxes and crates, the Berry household is now ensconced in its new location and small measure (very small measure) of 'normality' is returning to proceedings. So, without further ado I'd like to announce the arrival of a new CD from the marvellous Robert Hall production line.
Moving House shutdown

I'm moving house this week, and so for the next few days Baccus will be closed for business and new orders. Normal service will return to the company on Monday 22nd August although I will be living out packing cases for the next six months!

Yes, part one, as this year’s JOS was so damned good that I really did not want to short change the event or the people who took so much time and effort to stage what was an outstanding crop of games showcasing 6mm wargaming.
If you are one of the few people on the planet for who 6mm wargaming, ‘has no appeal’, (honestly, I despair!), then please turn down the prejudice rating just a few notches and be prepared to see exactly what the small scale stuff can do.

With the dust settling nicely on what was a simply outstanding Joy of Six show, (of which more anon), it’s time to make good on my promise of some new releases which were showcased at that event.
First off the blocks are the French half of the new SYW codes which will allow you to extend the conflict to the French Indian Wars. So, without further ado, you can now prepare to defend New France with the stalwart Compagnies Franche de la Marine

New releases at the Joy of Six

This is the last post on here before the Joy of Six, so I thought I'd give some advance notice of some new releases we'll be launching at the show.
As you may have gathered from the above photograph we'll have the very first unveiling of our new WW2 British paras. There will be both standard infantry and a range of support weapons.
