It's Show Time!

Here in the UK, we are right in the thick of the Autumn show season which is keeping us busy handling orders, restocks and customer queries as well as working on new projects. In all of this the one constant is the weekly Magic Order Number, which this week stands at #35201.

This weekend will see the Baccus trade stand making an appearance at the Fiasco show at the Royal Armouries in Leeds. If you’ve never been, the Armouries is spectacular and well worth the visit. I can also add that I appear (fleetingly) in the video on the battle of Marston Moor on show in the museum, so worth the view just for this.

With regards to new releases, there are some new second world war vehicles coming through the pipeline and we are expecting the masters for the latest addition to our Bronze Age range in the form of the Mitanni. There is also a very special new project entering the final stages of preparation, but more details of that will be coming in a couple of weeks.

And so, with absolutely no introduction, let’s talk Christmas. I know, it’s ages to go before the festive season, but experience tells us that a lot of you will be expecting Santa to bring you some little packets of Baccus Goodness on the 25th of December. If this is so, please ask your Loved Ones to firstly get the orders in early as we back up very quickly in the run up to the big day, and secondly to let us know that it is intended as an Xmas pressie. This is REALLY important if ordering outside the UK as postal services come under extreme pressure at that time of year and their delivery times can slip dramatically. Alternatively, just let them know what Baccus offers gift vouchers which suffer from none of the above issues.

I know that this week’s update started with a show coming up in two days’ time, but I will finish with another one coming up in just over two weeks. We will be making our annual visit to the Warfare show in Farnborough over the weekend of November 14th and 15th. Can I issue a plea to get the collect orders in to us as soon as you can?
