Order update and some news on the 6mm book...

Thanks to all who popped round and kept us so busy at the Hammerhead show last weekend.  A wonderful event and one that gets busier each year.  The next show for us is Salute, but more of that later.  This week’s magic order number stands at #28145.

I am now in the throes of collating and editing photographs for a book on wargaming in 6mm, to be published by Helion later this year.  It will cover a lot of the aspects of Gods Own Wargames Scale, but I thought that I’d share a couple of the things that will be appearing in the pages.

On a less positive note, I am afraid that from Monday 11th March our postal charges will be going up.   They’ve been pretty much static for a long time, but we can’t peg them any longer.   US charges remain the same.   Parcels to Europe and the Rest of the World now have a minimum charge of £7.50.   Rest of the World charges now rise to match those of the US at 30% of order value.   UK minimum charge rises to £4.00.    We’ve faced big increases in both the costs of postage and the price of packaging materials.   Even with this set of increases in mind, we can still take a hit on the cost of getting many orders out.

As ever, I will finish by asking you to get your Salute order in to us as soon as is possible.   The next few weeks will be quite frantic, so anything you can do to help with that will be gratefully received!
