I know some people love my table and some don't... but I can manage to "make the terrain" (or layout)  for ANTIETAM/SHARPSBURG or GETTYSBURG in less than two hours... and as someone has said... been a solo effort I am happy with it. I do not like stands (or bases) paced awry if you know what I mean. I also have cork layouts for desert fighting (mainly colonial) but the result would be much the same ... some will like and some will not. Guess what... I collect mainly miniatures (and buildings and trees of course)... but the interest IS in the minis actually. The wargames table is that ... A TABLE. Cheers.
