Inspirational stuff. I have made some similar conversions for Guard cavalry in the Franco-Prussian War.

It's quite fun, especially if you are trying to get figures for FRW, as slightly earlier war uniforms carried over, especially for the troops of the First Coalition.  You look at a pack of soldiers and think...."with a different colour jacket, maybe a small part added or removed, they could be....
