TOPIC: WJ Rawkins - The History Book Man |
Dear All, In advance of Baccus opening again (mid January?) I took a look at WJ Rawkins "The History Book Man" website to see if I could get an e-book on Hanoverians today. I have been getting "error 404 website not found" responses on my phone and my Mac. Does anyone know if anything untoward has happened? I've found it a great site for copious amounts of uniform information! I'm hoping this is a temporary blip, I can get some uniform information about Hanoverians 1793-1803 and can order some fine castings in 2021.... Cheers! Colin (the Wargamer) |

Dear Billy. Thanks for this. I'm really sorry to hear that the author has passed away. I hope that his business will continue in some form or other. Cheers Colin |

That is sad news, let’s hope the uniform reference books are not lost for good with his passing. In recent years he had significantly updated and expanded many of the original booklets, offering them in a full colour pdf format which represented incredible value for money.
