We are certain that there's a lot of you out there who wonder just how all these little men are designed and produced. In fact we know this because you keep on asking us about it at shows and by email and on the phone. No one can ever accuse us of being slow on the uptake, so we've decided to organise an Open Day to allow people to come to visit the Baccus HQ and have a nosey round for themselves.
All these questions and many more will answered on the day The next Open Day will be on: Saturday 19th July 2014 We're afraid that wehave to limit numbers as the workshop isn't all that big. On each day there will be two sessions, one running from 10.00am. to 12.00-ish. and one from 2.00pm to 4.00-ish. For those attending, you'll get to see the complete process of how we turn a featureless armature into a mighty 6mm warrior for your armies, which you'll find out is quite a tortuous process. You will meet with Igor the caster - an experience given to very few, and of course you'll get the chance to ask all those questions beginning with with, 'How', Why', 'What' and especially 'When'. And where would any guided tour or visit be without a final flurry of retail therapy, as you cannot leave the building before visiting the 'Gift Shoppe'.... Places will be allocated on a first come, first served basis and you can book by contacting us at admin@baccus6mm.com or by ringing on 0114 2724491. If you do intend to come, please be warned, both sessions were over subscribed last year, so get in early. Group bookings from local clubs are welcome. Spouses/Partners are also welcome. They usually start by settling down in the corner to read a book while the wargamer starts the tour. They always end up joining in and are the ones who ask the most intelligent questions. Why not make a weekend of it? With the Joy of Six show taking place on Sunday, it's your chance for a great 6mm packed two days!
