These mean my C19 Baccus figures get plenty of action! As it's now two years since the publication of BBB, I have collected links to all the reviews I'm aware of and put them in a single post on the BBB Blog: http://bloodybigbattles.blogspot.co.uk/2016/10/collected-reviews-of-bbb-bloody-big.html Baccus armies can be seen in many of the games in my Flickr albums: https://www.flickr.com/photos/127771552@N03/albums I hope this is useful to Baccus forum members. Standard User Posts: 429 njt236 3rd Apr 2017 05:53:29 At the moment for my massed fantasy campaign I have GW LOTR/Hobbit rulesets and companion books left over from when I did 28mm fantasy. The stats for a single orc/man figure I will use to represent the stats for a whole base of Orcs/men etc. My question is. Has anyone used the Kings of War ruleset and their thoughts on it. Should I try them or stick with what I've got which has stats for a lot of different troop types. I thank you Nigel Through the travail of the ages Midst the pomp and toil of war Have I fought and strove and perished Countless times upon this star. G S Patton |
Standard User Posts: 7 Dave 3rd Apr 2017 10:12:10 My previous AWI project saw service with Guns of Liberty and Field of Battle, as well as Patriots! from The Perfect Captain. The new AWI project will be based for RdG, but may also be used for Field of Battle. I have Romans and Carthaginians for Warmaster Ancient Battles. |
Standard User Posts: 4 Scorpio_Rocks 24th Jul 2017 02:32:46 We often use a base of 6mm figures to replace a single 28mm figure using rulesets such as SAGA, Lion Rampant, Dragon Rampant, Pikemans Lament, etc. With 3-20 men / base your skirmish "band" goes from a very light 20-30 men to a more sensible 150 or so! |
