What a good straightforward guide. Excellent. I particularly like the way you urge people not to fret over minor details. The mass effect is the whole point of 6mm. A little goes a long way |

I recall one suggestion a while ago (but cannot find it) of a black wash undercoat and then three dots of pale flesh on the face before painting but I might have misremembered. So, does anyone have any ideas or can anyone comment on how much longer it would take to paint a unit? |
My go to has been brown face, followed by the three dots for Europeans. A little goes a long way |

But elsewhere on the blog you can see some of the fantastic painting. http://zinnsoldatengeneral.blogspot.com/search/label/Painting%20Tutorial |
