Loving painting these guys, lovely models and colourful 'uniforms', but the flags are troubling me - does anyone have a source or reference on what Pancerni banners would have looked like?

I am afraid there is no information on GNW era banners. I used earlier banners or variants of those to do mine - i.e. different colours or mixing styles.

The early banners look nice though so that is good :) Plus they almost certainly continued using flags of these styles, even if a little different in detail.

Yes they do look good! I'll be using your system - and ordering some more pancerni. Coming from ECW, Napoleonics and ACW the lack of info on the GNW is quite a challenge! 

The good news is that you have picked one of the armies with the least information on. Most others there is a lot more around about them.

The good news is the GNW is a very interesting war to fight. Good luck on your project.
