Painting ECW Civilians

The pack of ECW civilians has come to the top of my painting pile.  Any thoughts on how to paint them?  Were the particular stereotypes/trades behind some of the sculpts, for guidance?

No real types in mind - they are all fairly generic sculpts.    With regards to styles and colours etc. this is a good start:

It's aimed at reenactors but has lots of good solid info and nice further reading section.
