| TOPIC: Assembling the Valentine AVLB |
any tips for how these should be assembled? the picture is of a folded bridge on top of the Valentine, travelling on a deployed bridge, but there is only a single folded bridge, so what to do with the other chassis? And the three metal bits on the sprue, where do they go? Also, the folded bridge doesn't seem to look quite right. All help appreciated |

This setup would allow one model to indicate the bridge's availability and the other to show it once deployed. Based on my real-life experience, once the AVLB deployed the bridge section, it would scuttle off to a safe location, allowing the crew to enjoy a brew, sleep, and wait out the remainder of the exercise—but I digress. Thanks Mort. It isn't quite that, they look like some kind of supports, but they must go on the vehicles, since there are two sets (whereas there is only one deployed and one folded bridge). |
