I have plans. I am dangerous when I have plans... |
The early Saxons could still have the cuirasses 'exposed' but Pete is right usually they were hidden under the coat. If you wanted to do them I would suggest using SYW Cuirassiers - Austrian, Russian or Prussian. |

These 28mm figures depict Saxon cuirassiers from the GNW period and can also be used for earlier conflicts like the Nine Years’ War. Additionally, Warfare Miniatures USA offers Saxon cuirassier packs (FSC001 and FSC002) tailored for GNW Saxon cavalry. These figures represent cuirassiers in appropriate uniform styles and mounted poses typical for early 18th century Saxon cavalry. For smaller scale or plastic options, some Zvezda kits include Saxon cuirassiers from later periods (Napoleonic era), which might not be historically accurate for GNW unless used with conversion or for later timeline games. If you want to combine with flags and additional infantry, League of Augsburg and other GNW specialist miniature suppliers also offer Saxon infantry and cavalry flags and accessories consistent with the period.
