How deep & wide to base medieval crusaders?

Hey all, hope your days are going well.

For a 1:1 6mm crusade game, how deep and how wide would the average crusader "company" or "battallion" be? I cannot find anything regarding this online, and perhaps it would have varied enormously. I am unsure as to how large these divisions even would be. I was thinking maybe 150 men would be a good baseline, but again I am unsure. I just would like to plan the basing of my figures around this, and I figure it would be good knowledge as well. Many thanks.

Probably best off making them a square block - so 12 by 12?  That's 60 mm by 60 mm with everybody crammed on the base
