CBR01 is for the early period when the British infantry wore red coats - Zulu War primarily

CBR21 is the Infantry in khaki - later Mahdist war/Omdurman, 2nd Boer War.

Then I guess the last ones are also the right choice for Infantry in Grey on the North-West Frontier?

Thanks!

I have a question about flags, Im new to the historical hobby as a whole (been into minatures and wargaming for 10+) and was wondering if the british carried there colors into battle (primarily zulu war) and if I should model them into my units?

hope to hear from you soon

One of the major differences will be the later figure waring puttees.

Regarding flags: last time British carried their colours into battle was 1881 during the 1st Boer War. As far as I know, Isandlwana was the only occasion during the Zulu War when a regiment (the 24th) had its Colours with them, but happy to be corrected on that point!

Having said that, my Early Sudan Brits still have Colour Parties because they look good!

Pretty sure that Hollywood likes to display colours flying in the centre of British squares in the Sudan.

Thankyou for the clarification mollinary  :D, still trying to figure out how to bace them as me and my buddy are going to be using the blackpowder rule set. I cant decide if i should bace the comand staff seperatly from the infantry or if it whould matter at all.
