TOPIC: Assembly of Austrian Caissons - NAU 13 |
Standard User Posts: 38 Rakkasan 31st Dec 2020 07:14:16 I am finally able to start painting the artillery for my Napoleonic Austrian Army. The sculpts are clean and I really like the one piece casting for the guns and limbers. However, I am wondering if anyone has some suggestions on assembling the caissons. It appears that the seat of the limber is removed and the front part of the caisson placed on the limber frame. Two wheels are mounted on the rear axle and a third is mounted on the rear of the caisson. Am I correct? Thanks, Mike |

I simply glued the back end onto the front axel. I can't seem to add pics on here but you can check out my post this am 1/1/21 there are pics of the glued and painted Caissons :) USUTHU! |
