you can just take a snip (WIN+Shift+S) and paste it, e.g.

What the heck is WIN+shift+S. I do wish people would post computer information with full and unambiguous instructions. I am a complete computer ignoramus and unlike most people these days I have no idea what to do when given unexplained instructions. When doing teacher training, back in the early 70s we were told to make sure we gave the pupils clear instructions and not to assume they had prior knowledge of what they were being instructed in. Unfortunately, when computers came on the scene the niggardly British education system gave us laptops with the instruction work it out for yourself. Not finding computers very interesting I never have been able to work them out, or been willing to devote hours and hours doing so.

WIN is the Windows key (the key with the Windows Logo on, usually near the bottom left) simultaneously with the 'Shift' Key simultaneously with the 'S' Key. However, it does not work generally unfortunately, it only worked above because the image was an image from this website.

click [CHOOSE IMAGES]

navigate to the image you want on your computer and select 'Open'

when it has uploaded, click the image

right click, select 'Copy Image Link'

come to this forum, hit the little picture icon above, paste the link into the URL box.

Unfortunately that doesn't work, it has to be hosted. The site I linked to in my last post was relatively straightfoward.

Doesn't seem much like progress to me when this stuff gets more and more complicated and difficult to work.
