Standard User Posts: 185 David Kay 2nd Jun 2020 06:59:57 I was going to give you all the opportunity to laugh at my bad painting by inserting a picture of a recent battle, but I couldn't figure how it was done. So instead, you have the opportunity for a good snooze whilst reading the battle report. Don't all snore at once! ?https://veryverylittlewars.wordpress.com/2020/05/28/battle-81-may-2020/

David, I have found a (relatively) easy way to post pictures to the site: 1. Take the picture on your phone, then post it to your facebook page. 2. Go to your facebook page, click on the photo to expand it with the black background. 3. Right click on the the photo to bring down the menu and click on copy image (NOT copy image address!) 4., Open a new tab for the Baccus site, then open the forum, go to your post and click on the image icon. This opens the image box. 5. Right click on the URL box to drop the menu. Click on paste, this reveals the image's code. Click on done/ok to put the photo into your post, then click on post. Job done. A little goes a long way |

Standard User Posts: 185 David Kay 22nd Jul 2020 07:48:12 Did try pasting a photo of a recent battle in. It seemed to take but then nothing was saved to the forum. How do other people do it? |
Standard User Posts: 185 David Kay 20th Aug 2020 04:24:57 Recently fought my largest battle at 6mm with about 1,400 figures on the battlefield. Report available at www.veryverylittlewars.wordpress.com. Meanwhile I'll try to load a snapshot here. |

Standard User Posts: 185 David Kay 23rd Aug 2020 08:01:53 Yes. The secret was to post the photograph in my website media library. From there it gets a url which can then be pasted into the relevant field in the image information. And then it all worked by magic. Of course the downside is, now that I know how it works I'll plague you with more....... |
