While the GNW range has Cossack cavalry, there are no Cossack foot. I've tried painting up some Polish Haiduks as Cossacks, but it just doesn't seem quite right. Any suggestions for proxies for C17th - C18th Cossack/ Ukrainian foot gentlemen?

I'm just painitng some polish infantry as Cossack foot and I think they will turn out very well. They are nearly finished, next week I will have them ready and can upload some pictures.

Do you mean the regular Polish foot? Asa I said, I got Haiduks, but somehow they just didn't look right.

Yes, the regular Polish Foot (GNP 11), not the Haiduks (GNP 09).

Thanks for the pics. They look really good. I think Pete can expect an order very, very soon. Did you make the flags yourself?

The flags are in part from the internet (not very specific, I know - I don't remember where from), but reworked with GIMP. Its not possible to send an attachment here or in a pm, or is it? Otherwise a could send you the pictures.

No worries. I've used MS Paint to make flags before, so I can do the same again. Thanks for the advice. I'm going to try to finish the rest of the Russians before I order any more figures. Then I can order more with a clear conscience.
