The first time I played this battle, my Danes substitued for the Saxons. After a bit of research I decided on several Baccus figures to use as Saxons. I selected NPR 02 Prussian Reserve Infantry for the Saxon infantry as they were in tunics rather than the longer Landwehr coats. RSA 04 Austrian Dragoons fit the bill for the Saxon cavalry, There weren't any good figures for the Saxon artillery, so I used RSI 07 Piedmontese Reserve Artillery mainly as two of the models would be painted as Danish artillery. The overal effect looked good. Figures were painted by Greg.

"Greg" if you mean Robert Jackson... always delivers in spades!... ( if the expression is correct! )

Very convincing Saxons. The Prussian reserve figures work very well. A little goes a long way |

( if the expression is correct! ) While the email address is Robert Jackson, the emails themselves are often signed "Greg". I have always wondered about that. I am planning my next order, RJW armies. I finally decided which figures I will use as Proxies. v/r Jeff |
Snap, working out my proxies yesterday, mainly Nap Prussians, WWI Russians and French, and a wee bit of filing. A little goes a long way |
