Looking at putting together armies for the latter 17th century. The GNW Russians have streltsi (GNR12) and early war pike and shot (GNR05/06) so that handles the infantry but the cavalry is another matter. Horse with continetal pot helmet (WEC16) in the ECW/TYW range can be used as mercenary reiters but what about Boyars and Tatars? I was thinking perhaps Cossack cavalry (GNC01) as Boyars and Hun horse archers (AHU01) as Tatars? Any thoughts or other ideas? Thanks!

I must admit that this is something of a blank area for me.  I will see if the GNW guru himself, Per Broden, has any ideas.
