For the eastern part, I will have a look at the Archosian Cavalry, they look like they might fit the bill. For the western part I am not so sure, i specifically need general skirmish cav for Italians, Phoenician, Greek and so on. I was thinking of using Moorish cavalry and painting them with a different skin color, or Spanish cavalry ? Did i miss something, do you guys have an idea ? In addition to the Numidian/Moorish Light cavalry, AMO03, there are the following: Tarantine cavalry, AMA15, was a common type for the later Hellenistic period. AIT03, Italian cavalry, ACE09, Cletic light cavalry, ASP04, Spanish light cavalry, ADA05, Dacian cavalry, and Thessalians, AGR05 all would work. Mix it up with some horse archers such as Saka, APE13 or APA01, Parthian horse archers. You could even use the various "medium cavalry" codes and base them up as light cavalry. Cheers |
I would think the most general type for the armies you are considering would be the Tarantine cavalry and the Thessalian. A little goes a long way |
