TOPIC: Hannoverian Landwehr 1815 |
Standard User Posts: 2 Eg407 28th May 2020 06:59:00 Hi all, I am embarking upon my own little Waterloo project. I have seen many brilliant projects across the internet. I am just wondering which figures people use for the Hannoverian Landwehr that were present at Waterloo? Thanks, |

Standard User Posts: 404 Glenn Pearce 2nd Jun 2020 01:36:32 There certainly is controversy. I didn't put any of mine in caps. But l don't recall what my actual research showed. Some people don't really care if it's accurate or not they just like the look. |

I must admit my mental picture of the Hannoverians has been heavily influenced by the Warlord box set. I think infantry in stovepipes is the way to go. Perhaps I will mix the odd figure in a cap in to identify the battalions at a distance. Thanks! EG :) |

Gulp, I was always wondering how accurate that was. I always a ssumed - 'very'. The mont-st-jean site also have a unit of Hanoverian Line in flat cap and in green uniform (I have got tthose ones in my 1815 Hanoverian forces now).
