Yes. I used the WWI packs to get Indian Army... including Bengal Lacers... see in General in these Forum the post "I started a blog" .... there are pics of them painted. https://www.mytoysoldiersandme.com

Now Daniel, you know better than anybody that there are no proxies for egyptian troops... but things are moving chez Baccus... |

They are absolutely perfect for the British Colonial Armies... lack of Gurkhas was in due time solved getting some Irregular Minis... and Egyptian Camelry (OMDURMAN) needed Turner 3D resin alternative (just because Baccus does not anything I would be able to convert!). Sometimes it is complicated. |

I've also used WW1 British vickers mg as maxims and I used the Egyptian infantry with fez filed down a little for Gurkhas. I sourced artillery in fez from Turner but as per Ironass only because I couldn't find a suitable Baccus proxy |
Now, I am sorry to say i posted that same pic in another thread by mistake!... will delete once this one published... I guess it is SUDAN (OMDURMAN) related enough. Those are 3D resin 6mm TURNER minis (painted by the talented Robert Jackson aka GREG... it took me a long wait to finally locate someone who did the alternative for lack of suitable BACCUS proxies. Of course the rest of units are BACCUS! |
