TOPIC: Fantasy human painting and converting |
Standard User Posts: 1 Grumbledook 2nd Jun 2016 12:31:22 Hello all. I'm new to the forum but have been collecting and painting Baccus and other ranges for quite some time now. In my search for a human 'Italian wars' style range to play the part of a well known fantasy human army, I've been singularly unlucky in finding anything suitable. I've always loved baccus figures and felt the late medieval range could provide the basis of some landschnect-esque troops. First up, some mercenary pikemen before the converting bug bit me: And here are some crossbowmen from the same range who needed a bit more pazzaz: Being a bit of a fantasy geek I'm pretty keen on the idea of fielding huge armies for dragon rampant, but find microworld's minis to be a bit too tiny to have the same presence. Anyone else here interested in the same stuff? |

Nice looking pike and good conversions on the crossbowmen! |

Growing old is mandatory, growing up is entirely optional! |
